A long-awaited NOVELTY in furniture industry – doors with hidden hinges!

Hinged doors (for the cabinet and furniture industry), that would be fixed on only two hidden hinges, are yet new, long-awaited miracle in furniture industry. This design-oriented aesthetic product (system IKS) is widely applicable: it can be used for wardrobes, closets, vitrines, glass cabinets and alike. Thus system IKS will find it‘s place in both commercial and individual interior areas.

We suggest our clients in particular aluminium framed glass doors with exclusive aluminium frame and hidden hinges. That‘s the system IKS. On request we will order for you the same hidden hinges just for wooden doors. The aluminium profile system ONLY (look at the picture above the text), designed for constructions of cabins and regular or walk-in wardrobes, is also available upon request. ONLY gives a lighteness and aesthetics to the carcass of the furniture. Furthermore, the simple technical adjustments will make it either merge into the architectural layout of a room or act as a partition that divides the room by being placed as a free-standing element.

The technical features of the system IKS provide an ability to manufacture really high and heavy aluminium framed glass doors – up to 3 metres height. Two hidden hinges hold up the doors. They are both embedded in the frame from the inner side – one at the top and another one at the bottom of the wardrobe. The hinges are capable of holding a weight up to 65 kilos. Thus, there is no need for any other additional support elements on the sides of the wardrobe. Moreover, since the hinges are hidden, they don’t cause any problem in positioning shelves and inner equipment or opening drawers. The thick border aluminium profile ensures stability of the doors.

Such doors, made out of the system IKS, can be supplied in either a single or double leaf configurations along with a wide choice of options including matching side lights, decorative features and hardware. As for us, perfectly would look a wardrobe with hinged doors in tempered transparent glass, framed in dark brown aluminium.
